Heightening style. Igniting senses.

Urban Fusion

Maybe it’s the Detroit girl in me, or maybe it’s the love of hip hop & electro. But even as I get older, my wardrobe still has moments of inspiration that come from urban vibes.  The challenge as we mature- is how to do it tastefully & not look like we think we’re still under 21 years old.  And better yet, how do we make smart purchases that can last a few seasons years for that matter, and still be relevant later on?

Bomber BaeGot that Bomber

Casual & chic.  Shiny & sleek. A shiny bomber jacket can instantly spruces up a tee & skinnies and transform it to an urban vibe.  Try it in a new neutral, such as blush, olive, or navy. All go well with just about any color palette.  Play around with sizes & lengths. Overall this is a great addition to your wardrobe for summer evenings, rainy days, or in & out of air-conditioning.

Gold Goalz

Gold ChainzFlash your fab.  There isn’t much more that screams street vibes than a ton of gold chains- where more is more (is not enough!).  Whether you layer up or go minimal with a statement piece, it’s important to make a little of an investment into your adornments.  Green ring or necklace marks is not a good look on anyone! Also with these pieces, they can easily be worn with a LBD or a formal occasion and be nothing short of sophisticated.

Proper Jogger

Harem 1Carefree cool factor. Seriously, could anyone look any cooler wearing a jogger with heels?  These modern day harem inspired silhouettes look amazing with casual with a wedged high top or your sexiest stilettos.  They’re great for days your have a ton of running around to do, physically maybe not feeling your finest, or wanting simply wanting your outfit to say “I didn’t try to be cool, it just kind of happened”.   Again, you can never go wrong with a neutral-and yes, camouflage is considered a new neutral.
