Heightening style. Igniting senses.

NYFW Spring Summer 2017

The best thing about seeing collections at Fashion Week? The garments of course, but for me it’s watching designers tell there stories on who their muse is,  her lifestyle, and her essence for the season.  After gathering some of my favorite looks from this past week, here are fashion stories & ideas put together to try hopefully inspire something new or revamp some pieces you may already have in your wardrobe. As I compiled the looks, my objective was (and is always) to make sure the inspiration can be easily implemented into your wardrobe, relevant to multiple lifestyles, and all excitingly fresh.

Enjoy & hope you are as inspired as I am!

Who needs accessories when the fabric on your dress is just fine on it’s own. With these visual textures, keep the look minimal to emphasize the amazingness of the metallic or opal-esque ensemble.

Brighten up with bold, poppy red pieces to give your wardrobe some quick excitement.   The color is energizing, and will turn the understated into the statement piece.

Everything from sheer, eyelets, and lace fabrics showcased a light & airiness on the runway giving us a fresh vibe on all white. Wearing this absence of color palette uses texture for high impact.

Pair up an oversized hoodie with soft hues, culottes or a skirt. Casually cool by day,   into a downtown vibe for the evening. Hoodies may have became popular in urban scenes, but they’re now at the forefront of fashion’s eye.

Spring’s throwback is getting major inspo from the 1950’s. Everything from mega high waist bikinis, citrus & floral prints, crisp pressed cotton dresses synched at the waist. All out feminine vibes, giving us simply perfection.

What in your wardrobe can be equally as cool as it is sophisticated? Paired with a simple button up, graphic tee, or simple camisole makes an A-line trouser incredibly versatile & well worth investing in for long term.

Bare shoulders returns for another season, and we couldn’t be more excited! Equal parts of sensual & sweet gives this grown-up bohemian vibe the sophistication for a mature audience, and playfulness for young ingénues.
